Choose the Norvell Machine That Fits Your Working Setup

Compare Norvell Oasis, M1000 and Z3000 bundle prices, weights and warranties, with model-specific handling, cleaning and workspace checks before buying.

Shortlist the Norvell Oasis for the lowest purchase price and a hose-free design, the M1000 for a portable separate-turbine setup, and the Z3000 for a busier appointment schedule. The Oasis is listed at $189.99, the M1000 bundle at $384.99 and the Z3000 Pro kit at $1,150.00. These recommendations compare published equipment and instructions—not hands-on performance tests or evidence that an upgrade will pay for itself.

Match a Machine to Your Priority

Shortlist: Oasis

$189.99 · 3 lb · 6-month warranty

Lowest listed price; turbine and gun are one handheld unit without an air hose.

Trade-off: Requires 110V power. Keep upright and level; fill with no more than 2.5 ounces of solution.

Handling and workload caveats

Oasis: Hose-free is not cordless. Norvell specifies upright, level operation without shaking.

M1000: Separate turbine, M Series gun and 10-foot quick-release hose. The hose adds a component to pack and manage.

Z3000: Separate turbine, Z-Gun and 10-foot quick-release hose. Norvell positions it for back-to-back appointments, but a verified daily appointment limit is not supplied here. Confirm your schedule and electrical version before purchase.

System weights are not handheld gun weights. No tent or extraction fan is listed in these three bundles. Recommendations do not establish comparative finish quality or payback.

All three systems use HVLP—high-volume, low-pressure air—to turn tanning solution into mist. The Oasis combines the turbine and gun in one handheld unit; the M1000 and Z3000 connect a separate turbine to the gun through a hose. They are operator-applied systems, not automated tanning booths. Norvell’s equipment guide explains these configurations.

Compare Bundle Prices and Warranties

These are Norvell’s published US-dollar prices for the specific bundles described below, before applicable tax or shipping. They do not establish the price or contents of every retailer’s kit; check the linked listing before ordering.

System Listed Price Configuration Listed Warranty
Oasis $189.99 Handheld; no air hose 6 months
M1000 bundle $384.99 Separate turbine and gun 1 year
Z3000 Pro kit $1,150.00 Separate turbine and gun 3 years turbine; 1 year gun

The listed system weights are 3 pounds for the Oasis, 6.5 pounds for the M1000 and 15 pounds for the Z3000. Those are system weights, not a comparison of gun weight in your hand.

Oasis Has the Lowest Price and No Air Hose

The Oasis is the first model to shortlist when purchase price, storage and fewer separate pieces matter most. Its bundle includes two solution cups and one 8-ounce bottle of Venetian solution. Hose-free does not mean cordless: Norvell lists a 110V power requirement.

Its operating position matters. Norvell says to keep the unit upright and level, avoid shaking it while spraying, and put no more than 2.5 ounces of solution in the cup—even though the cup’s listed capacity is larger. Consider whether that handheld arrangement suits your application routine before buying. Oasis specifications and directions

The low price is not proof that it is the right choice for repeated appointments. Nor is its all-in-one design proof of worse coverage. The comparison here establishes layout, included equipment and handling requirements, not tested finish quality.

M1000 Separates the Gun From a Lighter Turbine System

The M1000 is the middle-price option, with a lighter listed system weight than the Z3000. Its 10-foot quick-release hose lets you move the gun separately from the turbine, at the expense of another component to pack and manage.

Norvell’s bundle includes the M Series gun, turbine, hose, electrical cord, quick repair kit and three 8-ounce solutions: Venetian, Dark and Tuscan Plus. If you want a separate-turbine layout without the Z3000’s price, this is the sensible first comparison—not a guarantee of better coverage than the Oasis.

For application, Norvell specifies a six-inch distance from the client and a vertical gun position. Rotate the air cap to change the pattern rather than tilting the gun. These are M1000 directions; do not assume they apply to every model. M1000 bundle contents and directions

Z3000 Targets Back-to-Back Appointments

Norvell positions the Z3000 for back-to-back appointments. Its longer listed turbine warranty is a useful comparison point, but the 15-pound system is also heavier and substantially more expensive.

The Pro kit includes a Z-Gun, a 10-foot quick-release hose and the same three named 8-ounce solutions as the M1000 bundle. Z3000 product listing

Before paying for an upgrade, ask Norvell to confirm suitability for your expected appointment schedule and the exact electrical version supplied. The cited material does not provide a verified daily appointment limit for this comparison. Do not translate “high-volume” marketing into an assumed number of tans per day.

Budget Separately for Overspray Control

None of the three bundle contents above lists a tent or extraction fan. Allow separately for overspray control, floor protection, replacement filters, cleaning supplies and ongoing solution purchases. The cited bundle prices are not complete workspace costs.

If you are considering Norvell’s Arena All-In-One, distinguish it from an automated booth. It packages a Z3000 spray system with an overspray backdrop, extraction equipment, lighting, floor mat and quiet box for technician-applied tanning. Norvell lists curbside freight delivery in a crate and no returns, so check the access route and installation space before ordering. Arena contents and delivery terms

Overspray collection is not a substitute for exposure protection. FDA restricts DHA to external application, excluding the eye area, lips and mucous membranes; it advises measures to prevent inhalation or ingestion during spray application. Before buying for home use or client work, establish how those areas and exposure routes will be protected. FDA guidance on sunless tanners

Check Placement, Cleaning and Warranty Before Buying

Keep the Z3000 Turbine Outside the Spray Area

The Z3000 manual says to keep the turbine outside the spray area, behind the technician in mobile setups, and operate with filters installed in a well-ventilated room. Plan turbine placement as well as the space where the client stands. Z3000 manual

Match the Cleaning Procedure to the Model

Norvell’s M1000/Z3000 maintenance guidance calls for end-of-day gun cleaning with warm water, plus weekly and monthly maintenance. Follow your model’s instructions; do not apply a detachable-gun rinse procedure to an entire powered Oasis unit. Norvell maintenance guidance

Our guide to spray tan gun cleaning options covers cleaning choices, but the equipment instructions govern what can be rinsed and how it should be maintained.

Norvell’s product instructions permit only liquids approved by the equipment manufacturer. If you intend to use another brand’s solution, confirm approval before buying rather than assuming that any tanning liquid is compatible.

Do Not Assume Used Equipment Carries Warranty Coverage

Norvell’s M1000 turbine warranty is limited to the original purchaser, is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase. Lack of maintenance, water damage to electrical parts and incorrect voltage are among its exclusions. Those terms concern the M1000 turbine; they do not establish identical coverage for every Norvell component or model. M1000 warranty terms

For a used M1000, assess the purchase without assuming the seller’s warranty transfers to you. For a new machine, compare the exact covered component as well as the warranty duration—particularly the Z3000’s separate turbine and gun terms.

Choose the machine around transport, handling and service demands. Choose the solution separately, then follow its assigned first-rinse timing; the machine name does not determine aftercare.
